GI Bill and Tuition Assistance
ATI’s degree, diploma and certificate programs are approved for Veterans Administration Educational Benefits.
The new GI Bill (Chapter 33) or Post 9/11 GI Bill, boasts the most comprehensive education benefits package since the original GI Bill was signed into law in 1944. This new benefit became effective as of August 1, 2009. If you are eligible for the Post 9/11 GI Bill and other GI Bill benefits such as the Montgomery GI Bill (MGIB) you will at some point be required to make an irrevocable choice of which benefit you wish to receive.
ATI is a Yellow Ribbon School
The Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program (Yellow Ribbon Program) is a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. This program allows institutions of higher learning (degree granting institutions) in the United States to voluntarily enter into an agreement with VA to fund tuition expenses that exceed the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition rate. The institution can contribute up to 50% of those expenses and VA will match the same amount as the institution.
There are a number of financial aid programs available to those who qualify including:
- Veterans Benefits
- Military Tuition Assistance
- Tuition Assistance Student Loan program (TASL)
- Grants and Federal Student Loan Programs
ATI has a dedicated Campus Veteran representative to assist with education benefits questions. Contact ATI today by filling out the form on this page to learn more about how we can help you make the transition into your chosen career field.
